West Ham United are still looking for their first points of the season after defeat at Manchester United.

Wayne Rooney put the home side in front from the penalty spot on 32 minutes after Jonathan Spector had fouled Ryan Giggs. It ended the striker's 13-match goal drought stretching back to March.

Rooney set up Nani for the second on 49 minutes and Nani then turned provider crossing for Dimitar Berbatov to get the third on 69 minutes. The result left the Hammers bottom of the Barclays Premier League.
